1. Your personal data
If you fill out your address on a form in order to receive a catalog or a sample copy of a journal, your data will only be used for sending the material you have requested. If you order a sample copy of a journal, your address will be stored for a follow-up mailing on this journal after a certain period of time has elapsed.

We will only store your address or your e-mail address if you explicitly wish to receive our catalogs, brochures or newsletters regularly. The address database is in  our office building and is not accessible from the outside.

Under no circumstances will we sell, trade or share your data with third parties.

2. Orders
When you select and order items from your shopping cart online, the data from your computer will be coded and transferred to our server. For this, we use Secure Sockets Layer encryption, which corresponds to the safety standards on the Internet.

After you have submitted your order, you will receive confirmation in an e-mail containing all the data pertaining to your order, but not however the numbers of credit cards or bank accounts.

Your order will be encrypted and sent to Mohr Siebeck, and we will process it in accordance with common data protection policies.

3. Cookies
Cookies are small data files which are stored temporarily on your computer in order to transfer information from one website to another. They do not contain personal data.

On our website, we use so-called session cookies, which will be erased when you close the browser.

4. Session ID
In order to store the contents of your shopping cart temporarily, you will receive a session ID automatically from the server when you visit our website. This number is required in order to locate the shopping cart. This number is randomly generated. It is stored in a cookie which will be erased when you leave www.mohr.de or when you submit your order for the contents of your shopping cart online.

The session ID does not contain any personal data.
