Jahrbuch des öffentlichen Rechts

Edited by Peter Häberle

The JöR (Yearbook of Public Law) stands in the great tradition of G. Jellinek and G. Leibholz. Since 1983, its editor has been P. Häberle. Each year, it presents constitutional developments within and outside of European in articles written by highly respected authors, and often documents new constitutional texts. The JöR begins with scholarly papers, written mainly by German authors on current issues in constitutional law. During the past 27 years, new categories have been created regularly: "The Theory of Constitutional Law in Self-Portrayals," "Images of Judges," "European Jurists," "International Jurists." The recent three-part appraisal of the 60th anniversary of the German Basic Law contained articles by authors from Germany and other countries.
